Yikes! Good luck.

Tendons are very slow healers. They don't regenerate like muscles. Keeping them strapped sounds like a good idea.

I messed up my rotator cuff. If I hadn't immobilized it and only increased the exercise gradually I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have healed properly. After five months of therapy, strengthening and stretching it's still a little dicey.
