I have a land line...old fahioned I guess. I can talk on the phone. I have a cell phone....aIt does not get so send text. I have no use for text. My klutzy fingers would do do well with it anyway. I have a simple flip phone I keep in the car for emergencies, to get directions or to note that I am running late for an appointment. I don't care for the text speak with abbreviations.it even bleeds into business communication these days. I will stick to phone calls. I used to have some of the chat services, but those seem to have fallen out of favor. I still like the phone the best. You get the nuance of voice. Texting seems sterile to me, no nuance. I will not use texting in this lifetime. "One Big Sky Covers Us All Equally"

Texting Or Endless Emails Are Fun Activities For Sure... However IF IF IF you are Actually Seeking A Sex Partner- Nothing Is REAL Or Will Ever Happen Until You Start Talking On The Phone. Everybody Is Not Upfront Like Me- So I Have to Keep Reminding Myself That Most People Around HERE Only Pretend To Be Swingers...

Yes, I have to agree if they are not willing/able to text or call, then YEP BIG RED FLAG!! There are those that are only online. I remember back in the day when I first started here on alt everyone was skyping!! Now its a few emails, comments on my post, then perhaps texting, then a phone call. Some people like myself have very limited time, but doesnt mean I can't say HEY and have a great night, RIGHT!! And sometimes ya just gotta a be DIFFICULT!! "Seeking soul-mate!! Seduce my mind and you can have my body, touch my soul and I’m yours forever! "

By googling my real phone number a person can find out way to much about me and I live in a small town with a career to protect. Getting a burner phone would solve this and yes, agreed, the nuances of voice would probably help guide my intuition. Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray. Rumi

Well perhaps some people are better with an email than a text. Texting is fast and furious and right off the top of your head. An email is more reflective One can think before one talks.

I've learned my lesson with that no talking or texting. I won't go into it but there is just something shady about not wanting to talk on the phone. Now, if that is what has been agreed upon at the inception that's very different.

For me it is e-mail or a messenger of my choosing only. I do not give out my number to someone I have not met. I've dealt with crazy and do not wish to go there again. After a meet and they don't feel CrAzY, then I will share the number and we can text or talk, etc.... I like to have the safety of being able to disappear if need be.
