I'm from a modest background, loved academia and became a researcher in computers for many years till one of my side projects with a friend grew into a real company. Since they I've been involved in several technology based start-up companies often spending as much time on the business/management side as on the technology.
I've an old fashioned sense of manners copied from the Jeeves and Wooster books I loved reading as a . I may open a door for a woman but I've also partnered with women in creating companies.
I sometimes, half jokingly, describe myself as an "uber geek" as there isn't much I've not done with computers and related technology. But its what I do and not who am I.
Slightly socially phobic. Good one-on-one or small groups. But big parties I do rarely.
Love to travel when I can. Even if its just a long weekend to one of my favourite cities: Paris, Rome, or New York. For a longer holiday its a much harder choice. Of the places I've been to Japan was amazing, so was Malaysia and Hawaii and there are so many places yet unseen.
Love to go clothes shopping with my special someone. Big stores, little boutiques, designer labels or names no one has yet heard of.
Although I get on well with I've never wanted any of my own.
Don't take part or follow sports. I keep in shape, enjoy long walks, even cycle when the weather is good.
Sexually I'm dominant but nothing extreme, although these things are relative. I enjoy control, the more the better, sometimes mental, sometimes through bondage, love spanking, setting tasks, using vibrators, handcuffs, rope... Please note that doesn't mean I'm just here just for sex. I'm here to find someone to spend my life with.
PS: Since I've been asked yes that really is a recent picture of me! I could claim clean living and plenty of exercise (both of which I do try to do) but I'm sure lucky genetics plays its part too.

My Ideal Person:
Looking for a mutually supportive relationship based on trust and respect... with occasional tickles and silliness because if you can't laugh at life then you're doing it wrong!
I'm looking for someone who wants to share a life. Who looks to me when something happens just to tell me about it. Who want to tell me about their days and looks forward to hearing about mine. Who thinks holding hands in public with your special someone it natural.
